Here at Exercise, Fitness and Wellness, we are passionate about helping others achieve their goals in fitness and wellness of their lives. As Exercise Science majors, we strive to bring people from their sedentary lifestyles to a more active and healthier lifestyle. Whether you are an athlete, a former athlete, or just an everyday person looking to improve your physical fitness in Colorado then you have come to the right place. We want you to succeed and become healthier overall. We are here to help you succeed and to give you the tools necessary to push yourself beyond what your used to but bring you back from that edge to do it again and again. We design workouts based on individual needs and time constraints. Whether you want to go from the couch to a 5k, improve your running capabilities and form, to maximize the time spent lifting weights at a gym, or simply to become more active and get the 30 minutes of exercise a day for three days a week needed to improve your overall health to live a happier, healthier and longer life.  

Couch to 5K

Are you tired of sitting on the couch and letting life just pass you by? Well here is a challenge for you. Through this program, we will train you over the course of 8 weeks to go from sitting on the couch to running and completing a 5K. For those of you who do not know, a 5K run is 3.1 miles in length and can be found across the Colorado and the nation. We can guarantee that within 8-10 weeks you will be prepared enough to run the race and could possibly place in your age group if you commit to this workout. Meet three days a week and run on your own one to two days. An hour each day we meet. Limit 6 per group. Individual if needed.
