Trent Johnson - President/Fitness & Wellness Consultant/Trainer

My immediate family is comprised of natural athletes. So, it is no surprise that I too was destined

to become an athlete. At a very young age, I was introduced to recreational, team sports

including baseball, basketball and flag football. However, it was not until my early teens that the

athletic spark ignited in to a flame. When I was fifteen, my father introduced me to distance

running while he was regaining his athletic form. I was immediately hooked. I took this yearning

for athleticism into high school in where I competed in Cross Country and Track, excelling to the

top of JV during my senior year attempting to break in to the varsity ranks. I continued my

athletic endeavors beyond high school and in to college where I ultimately landed on the degree

that I desired most, Exercise Science. There were a few road blocks along the way including

weight gains and a small stint as a Business major. However, it was my athletic passion that

drove me to this major. I began to re-build my body, my mind and my self-esteem by running to

the Gym, training, and offering guidance to my friends and to anyone that just might ask. I

gained advanced knowledge of Exercise Physiology (emphasis on personal training), Body &

Exercise Assessment, and Kinesiology. This knowledge took my physical conditioning to the

next fitness level, and I have never looked back. My college experience taught me that I can push

beyond my perceived limits, and I know that anything is possible even with my medical

condition, Asthma. I successfully completed my Bachelor’s degree from Colorado State

University Pueblo (2014/2015 Division II National Football Champions) in the fall of 2014.

I specialize in High Intensity Interval Training (HIIT), as well as, Core, Body Weight, Running

and Resistance Training which includes weights, resistance tubing, and resistance bands. I have

over eight (8) years running experience, and six years of training runners, for various distances,

including 2-years as a professional runner. As an athlete/trainer personally afflicted with Asthma,

I can offer the tools and knowledge to aid in overcoming this perceived affliction and to aid in

the understanding that a healthier lifestyle is one of many keys to controlling this condition. As of February

2015, CrossFit is becoming a part of my life and I am incorporating these style workouts into my training

sessions. I participated in the CrossFit Games 2015 Open this year and came in the top half of the

Modified Participants.  http://games.crossfit.com/athlete/610380

In the six (6) years as a fitness consultant, including my college campus days, I have been

successful in helping many individuals and groups to be healthier and fitter, ultimately making

themselves happier. Your body is always a work in progress, so if you can “Exercise Harder, Eat

Healthier and Never Give Up” then you can find that life enriching feeling that you might never

have thought could have existed. That is until NOW!
